It is no longer news that Ilayathalapathy Vijay and AL Vijay are coming together for a project. However, the project has now been titled 'Thalaivan' and will go on floors by the end of this year. It will be produced by Chandra Prakash Jain.

'Thalaivan' is touted to have the usual technicians of AL Vijay and is a commercial entertainer that will have music by GV Prakash, of course.

However, buzz is that once 'Thupaki' is wrapped Vijay will focus on 'Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru' with Gautham Menon. The film will be completed by the end of the year following which 'Thalaivan' will go on floors.

AL Vijay is currently busy with work on 'Thaandavam' that has Chiyaan Vikram in the lead.

In the recent times kollywood star actors had lent their voices to the songs for their movies which turned out to be hot of the times.

The latest update is that Ilayathalapathy Vijay who entertained with his action, family and entertaining performances soon to sing a song in his forthcoming movie Thuppakki.Harris Jayraj who composing tunes for this film asked Vijay to sing a song in the film.Harris Jayraj says, “Once after I scored the tunes for this party song, I felt Vijay’s vocals would suit the track best and told him about it and he was very excited about this.”

Murugadoss is directing the film,currently Thuppakki movie shooting is carrying on at Mumbai.Kajal Agarwal is romancing Vijay in this film.Thuppakki is touted to be an action entertainer which is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu ad distributed by Gemini Film Circuit.

Much was expected when Karthika, daughter of yesteryear glam heroine Radha made her flashy entry with a Jiiva-starrer Ko in K.V. Anand’s direction.

While the film did wonders to Jiiva’s career, Karthika could not a make it big despite the fact that she was critically acclaimed for her performance. Finally there’s good news for the actress!

Reliable sources say that none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay for a film has roped her, which will be produced by his newly formed banner Ghilli Films.

Vijay is restricting himself to production and Vikram Prabhu, son of veteran actor Prabhu will play the male lead.

Interestingly the Velayudham star has chosen to remake the 1981 blockbuster movie Sattam Oru Iruttarai as his first project.

Apparently, the movie was directed by his dad S.A. Chandrashekar and featured Vijayakanth and Poornima in the lead.

After SOI’s release Vijayakanth became one of the leading stars in Tamil cinema. The remake version, it is said will be directed by debutant Ramesh.
