Director Bharathiraja has confirmed that Ameer is no more part of his much talked about upcoming film 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum'. "Ameer is not working with me this time since there are some changes in the script. I will make a new movie with him," the ace director says.

While Bharathiraja denies any specific reason behind dropping Ameer from the project, sources have it that the actor-director was shown the door since he was caught in a controversy over the tiff between producers and workers.

"Bharathiraja is searching for a new protagonist now. There are chances for the '16 Vayadhiniley' maker to rope in his son Manoj to play the lead role in Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum," sources say further.

With 'Ko' girl Karthika and Iniya of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame playing the female leads, the movie set in the backdrop of villages near Theni has Roja in a crucial role. Initially Parthiepan was signed as the protagonist, but he was later replaced by Ameer.
